Can you explain a bit more? Instead of adding items using the drop down when creating an invoice, you want a table with checkboxes? Or you want to create an item that contains different items?

As far as I know, you are the only one that has asked for this. If we would cater for every possible option, then the plugin would be a lot more complicated and slower.
If you want to give 6 months discounts, why have a monthly package instead of a 6 monthly package?

Why not send a direct link to the 6 months trial package, instead of sending them a coupon? And hide the package from the frontend as Alex suggested?

Just to clarify the difference between recurring payments and recurring invoices:
recurring listings or packages means that payments are taken from a customer bank account automatically each period.
For one-off packages with a limited period, a new invoice will be automatically created and sent at the end of the period.
