Square extension not working with sandbox account

    Hello,

    I have square sandbox account and trying to test paments with test credit card numbers provided by square. However, it is not working. I get error on the payment form “field must not be blank”. I tried to debug and found that square api is throwing an error because of missing “source_id” while creating a payment. This field basically carries card nonce. Not sure why this is not working. Can you please help me fix this.

    Are you testing with recurring or single payment items?

    OK, can you tell us about the settings?
    Which country is the shop, and the customer?

    Hi,

    before making a transaction, press 

    Ctrl+Shift+J (or Cmd+Shift+J on a Mac)

    on your keyboard to open the console.

    Then proceed with the transaction process and let us know if you can see any errors being logged.

    PS: Are other payment gateways working fine?

    Have you set up your live Square credentials (includes you live location id) in the addon’s settings?
