I cannot generate an invoice or quote

    Hi,
    I installed the invoicing- and quote plugin. It looked like all is there on the website, I completed the installation guide from your website. However when I want to make an invoice or quote, I am being ask to add an item to the invoice/quote, if I do so the item is not being added and the invoice/quote is not being generated (the screen indicates activity), If I refresh the screen the invoice-/quote number increases with 1 but no invoice/quote has been made. What have I missed in the installation instruction? please advise, much appreciated
    I am using WP version 5.3.2 on my website

    Please share WP Admin credentials so we can check the settings on your site. Use a private reply so only our team can see the credentials.

    You have not created any items yet at Invoicing > Items.

    does that mean that I can only create an invoice/quote with items pre-defined and the button “create new item” only refers to adding pre-defined items for the invoice/quote?

    I added an item to test and it I am able to make an invoice, thank you much appreciated

    Yes, you only can sell things that you have created for sale.
