GD1 to GD2 – Stripe Webhook change?

    Hi there,

    I am going to buy the STRIPE add on for use with my GD version 2 upgraded website (currently in development). Seems that this plugin is the way to use GD2 payments.

    When a member creates a gd-place listing and is directed to make payment do I need to change the webhook I use with GD1 to work with this plugin within GD2?

    If you are already using Stripe with V1, you should already be using WPinvoicing and the Stripe addon …

    If you were using a very old version of the Stripe GD addon, you will have to change your webhook, yes.

    Thanks Guust – Yea I was using a very old V1. I did upgrade to V1.x Latest version before upgrading to v2 – but only on my test site so did not take a payment.

    Is it just one webHook – and if so would you post the instruction for me here?

    I did check the documentation but could not find it: https://wpinvoicing.com/docs/stripe/

    Once installed, you will find the correct Stripe Webhook URL at
    Invoicing > Payment Gateways > Stripe > Stripe Webhook URL
    and should look like

    https://yoursite.com/index.php?wpi-listener=IPN&wpi-gateway=stripe
