Using Affiliate WP with invoicing and GeoDirectory

My question is about using Affiliate WP with Invoicing and GeoDirectory.

I seem to have gotten affiliate WP setup correctly. I can go into my website which has the Geodirectory plugin and WPInvoicing plugin using Strip payment gateway and all are working.

I was able to go thru the Affiliate setup as described in their documentation.

I can go to the affiliate login panel (front side) and I can see what would be my statistics, my links and so forth. However if I use my affiliate link to go to the site and I buy an advertisement nothing is tracked? It simply does not work.

I am not for sure but when I sign on to the site with the affiliate link it seems to be logged-in on the affiliate link until it comes to the point that I have to login to my account on the site to buy the advertising product. There is no way that I know of to bypass the fact that when you go to the site and you are not a registered user you have to register to be able to go to the advertising area and then buy a subscription advertising plan. I cannot set up an affiliate link that goes directly to the purchase advertisement page?

Note: if I go through the process of using the link to go to the site, and then login, and then go to the subscription area, and then select a plan and fill out the advertisement, and then check out and pay, everything works except the affiliate dashboard does not show any transactions ever took place?

Just so you know our reason for using this functionality is twofold the most important right now is we want to track sales people who directly contact customers and then give them a affiliate link to the site at which point we would be able to track customers that come in from each individual sales person across the world.

The second reason or the affiliate program that we wanted was more common to the normal functionality of selling Affiliates to persons or companies with websites who will promote it through those sites.

In either case we just want to track someone coming through an affiliate link to the main page of the site on through them placing an advertisement and purchasing. We need to know if we have made a mistake with your software if it cannot do this in the descriptions it seemed that it would.

So it appears there is no more GeoDirectory integration provided by GeoDirectory anymore, and it’s now offered via the WP Invoicing plugin. On our end we have removed the GeoDirectory entry and page from out integration section. I am sorry about that, however, the GeoDirectory integration was a 3rd-party integration (meaning we did not develop the integration plugin that was needed to connect it to AffiliateWP) and we were unaware of this change until now. So, to recap, no “GeoDirectory” will show in the integrations list, so “invoices” is the correct one to enable.

Since you do have the “invoices” option checked, you’ll need to reach out to WP Invoicing support to find out if it is intended to also support and create referrals for the GeoDirectory transactions.
