Single voucher use per user defect

    When I add a new coupon code with Invoicing add-on, users cannot redeem vouchers that have the “Use Once Per User” setting enabled. When you try to use the voucher code, the error states that the voucher code has already been used (unlimited uses, use once per user). When I view the invoice generated for this listing and attempt to apply the discount on the invoice, I get the same error.

    Uncheking this checkbox in the discount setup, allows a user to use the code and check out with the discount applied, but a user can now use the code multiple times.

    Am I missing a setting or is this a known issue? Searching your forums does not yield any answers to this effect.

    Hi Jacques,

    I have checked in my test site and it worked as expected. Let us provide site url with admin credentials so we can look into there.

    I done following steps:
    – Created coupon with Max Uses = Unlimited and Use Once Per User ticked
    – Created one invoice and it successfully applied that coupon and it successfully redeemed.
    – Created another invoice and tried to apply coupon and now as excepted it shows error “This discount has already been redeemed.”

    Hi Jacques,

    FYI, it recommended to choose items for either both “Items” and “Excluded Items” for discount limitation per item. Because choosing items in both some time does not make sense.
    For Ex: If want to apply discount for “premium” & “gold” only then choose these both from “Items” to apply discount. Here no need to exclude other items.

    BTW i have tested new discount with choosing values for “Items” and “Excluded Items” as you said and it also worked for me.

    Please try that coupon and let us know.
