PayPal Standard not sure if it is working with Wpgeodirectory

    Hi I have setup listings to purchase in GeoDirectory using PayPal standard and have tested it by purchasing a listing myself. This was successful and in my listing of invoices it show as paid. My problem is that I have had many clients sign up for listing but they come into my listing of invoices as pending. There is not payment made in PayPal. I was just wondering if there was a way to find out if the payment process is not working or my clients are not going through to the payment stage. Would appreciate some help and advice. Thank you.

    I also don’t receive any notification or email telling me that payment has failed.

    You can set your gateway to test and try a test transaction in off hours, that’s the way to make sure if it is working or not. What happens when you do that?

    Hi,

    that’s what happened when the payment is abandoned or failed.

    The listings is saved as draft in case they want to come back, complete the payment and have their listings published.

    Hi,
    Tried the test payment and worked perfectly. Clients must be abandoning their payment or it is failing for some reason. All my invoices are pending and all listing are set at draft. Is there any way of checking what people are doing. Should an email come through telling me that the payment has failed or been abandoned?

    There isn’t a notification when users leave the cart or the site.

    Just another worrying issue, I am getting users signup and it is changing their username and email addresses. I have blacklisted the email address that is causing this but not sure what to do with the existing users whose emails and usernames have been changed.

    That is not something that could have happened because of our plugins and it’s definitely not a WP Invoicing problem. Something else must be responsible for this.
