I have updated the site to the new WP Invoicing plugin. It has removed all existing settings for my site payments. When I have reinstated them as previous on the new plugin I have tested with a new listing submission as if a third party user. When it comes to PayPal (i have selected standard PayPal as the only payment gateway as that’s how it has always been) once the checkout process links through to PayPal it says “This feature is only available to Business and Premier Accounts.” You then click ‘Return to Merchant’ and it says “Transaction Failed. Your transaction failed, please try again or contact site support.”
I’ve never had an issue with this payment process before with my existing PayPal account (which is a business account) for either one-off or recurring payments. I have checked all settings on the plugin and cannot see any errors (everything else seems to have taken effect accordingly- currency, coupon codes etc), and have also checked the address of the relevant PayPal account is correct.
It’s not been an issue on the previous version for the existing PayPal settings so assume not an issue with these. However, when I go to the payment/ account settings on PayPal to set up just for PayPal payments (not card payments) it says about working with a 3rd party payment host (assumed like the WP plugin) and then mentions permissions for API and API codes to integrate payments to the third party manager but I cannot see where this would be entered on the WP admin or even know if this is what needs doing.
Please advise how to rectify this as at the moment no payments can be processed via my website!
