Hello,
Some clients couldn’t continue with the transaction further than the checkout screen (it won’t show their details, only a blank checkout page). On investigation, I’ve noticed that it’s mostly clients using the Chrome browser.
Is it a known bug, or how can it be fixed please?
March 26, 2018 at 12:54 pm #1298Hello!
Thank you for reporting this; indeed it sounds like a new issue.
Can you share the site URL and WP Admin credentials? What steps do we take to recreate the issue?
April 3, 2018 at 7:18 am #1326Hello,
Thank you for contacting me. I would prefer to give this information in private please. Is that an option? The rest of the discussion can be continued here, if you prefer.
Unfortunately it’s not just a Chrome issue either. I have tested on IE and MX5 this morning after a client said he couldnt make the payout as the checkout page is empty. I could continue to the PayFast page when I was logged in on Comodo. It works on Firefox as well, but not any other browser 🙁
I am using WPInvoicing on 2 sites, and it’s the same on both. I don’t understand if it’s like this on both the sites, why no one else is having the issue?
Thanks in advance
April 3, 2018 at 5:02 pm #1329Hello,
I do all my testing with chrome, its my daily driver and i have never had this problem.
If we can’t replicate the issue then we can’t fix it without actually doing testing on the affected site.My guess is that it is some sort of javascript conflict.
You can private reply here and only staff will be able to see it.
Thanks,
Stiofan

I can access both the URLs from my chrome browser. My question is are you logged in as the correct user for whom the invoice has been generated? Or are you logged in as the admin user? I see that if I am not logged in as any user it shows cart empty and it is the default behaviour.
Let me know your inputs here.

PatrikApril 4, 2018 at 9:06 am #1334Hello Patrik,
Thank you for helping.
It appears that I can access it only when Im logged in as admin.

April 4, 2018 at 9:16 am #1335Yes, the link you have shared is of the invoice created for someone. So you should be logged in via admin user or the user for whom the invoice created to access it and pay.
Is this resolved your issue?

PatrikApril 4, 2018 at 9:18 am #1336Does that mean that the invoice cannot be paid if the user isnt logged in?
April 4, 2018 at 9:29 am #1337Hello Patrik,
This setting isn’t ticked:
” If ticked then user needs to be logged in to view or pay invoice, can only view or pay their own invoice. If unticked then anyone can view or pay the invoice.”
Regards,
April 4, 2018 at 9:31 am #1339I just checked, it isn’t ticked on the other site either.

The issue is due to caching plugin WP Fastest Cache. So I have excluded the checkout page from the caching and it should work fine now.
Please review it and let me know how it works from your side.

PatrikApril 4, 2018 at 2:44 pm #1343Hello Patrik,
I have tested it and it appears to be working perfectly.
Thank you for your time and effort. Great support.
