Hi,
we have a problem with your plugin. It happens on a fresh installation of WordPress and with only Invoicing plugin enabled. The same is on several different servers.
If an invoice is created via admin area and add new invoice then it works normally, but if I create it from buy item button shortcode then it is impossible to view that invoice (either in admin or frontend), it loads and loads, until the timeout happens.
Do you know about this issue?
Thank you!March 26, 2018 at 10:59 am #1296Hello,
I have not seen this before, it might be a conflict, if you can provide wp-admin and FTP details i will check your error logs.
Thanks,
Stiofan
March 26, 2018 at 1:48 pm #1299Hi,
there is nothing in the logs, it looks it is just an infinite loop until a timeout happens. And it is not a conflict as nothing else is installed on that installation, all other plugins are deactivated and the theme is default one.
Let me check with the team about FTP and I will send it to you.
Thank you
March 26, 2018 at 6:50 pm #1302Patrik will try and recreate this tomorrow, if he can’t then we will need wp-admin and FTP to test.
Thanks,
Stiofan
March 27, 2018 at 6:10 am #1303I can’t recreate the issue. It may be specific to your installation or theme you are using. Please provide us the admin and FTP details in private reply and we will look into it further.
Thanks,

I suggest you discuss the same issue with WPEngine technical team as they apply some MU changes on their server specific to WordPress sites so it can be the reason for this issue.
Also, Can you please tell me the other sites having the same issue are hosted on WPEngine or somewhere else?
We are trying to regenerate the issue and will let you know the fix as soon as possible.

PatrikMarch 27, 2018 at 1:12 pm #1308Hi,
it happens also on DigitalOcean server and on my localhost.
I was in a chat with 2 senior developers from WP Engine for 2 hours, they have even migrated to another instance and nothing helped.
Best regards!March 27, 2018 at 1:21 pm #1309Ok thanks for providing info. I see all the invoices are paid using the manual payment method.
How do you make payment for recurring items using manual payment method as it will not allow using the manual payment method for recurring items?
Can you let me know the steps you are following at checkout?

April 5, 2018 at 8:56 am #1347Hi Patrik
do you have any news on this?
Thank you!April 5, 2018 at 9:05 am #1348Hi Nyssa,
There are some unexpected behaviors on the checkout page and admin settings pages, for example, stripe gateway settings are not saved. I think it is due to the cache by hosting. Can you please disable the caching on staging so that we can find the issue and fix it. It seems issue due to the hosting and not the plugins.

PatrikApril 5, 2018 at 10:30 am #1349Hi, Patrik, thank you!
There is no caching on staging instance of WP Engine.
Also, the same problem happens on two other servers that 100% don’t have caching. -
