How to Disable VAT Properly For a United States Directory?

I was looking through source code and I see where just the VAT takes up a good bit of resources. All my listings and advertising clients will be in the United States.

Can you give me the run down of how to properly disable all of the EU VAT.

    Jason

    Hi Jason, go to
Invoicing > Settings > Tax tab > Tax settings > Enable taxes > NO

Or if you need taxes and only want to disable VAT:
Invoicing > Settings > Tax tab > EU VAt Settings > Enable VAT Rules > NO

    Thanks

I’ll get the developers to look at your question after the weekend.
    Thanks

    To save some time.

    Question/Favor #2

When they get back. Ask if they have a function that would disable all invoicing scripts from pages everywhere but the invoicing pages.

    This would be fabulous.

You could do something similar as to what you are doing with GD in your post over there, but i have added a task to look at if we can do this by default and make it work with shortcodes/widgets, but this will likely be a few weeks before its looked at.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
