    Hi there,

I’m getting an error when I try to resend an invoice or send a reminder from the Invoicing Plugin.

‘Fail to send email to the customer.’

    Can you help?

    Hi Jen,

Firstly, the email do seem to be sending!
The problem seems to be the sparkpost plugin, when that is set to send mails it seems to return false for the wp_mail function. We use this same plugin extensively on most of our sites with no problems, and the only difference i can see is your email domain is prefixed with @”mail.” is there a reason its not the main domain of the site? That is the only thing i can think of.

(also we use the HTTP API as we have found that is no blocking when sending mails)

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Hi Stiofan,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. It was you guys that recommended the Sparkpost plugin when I raised an issue of all of the emails from Geodirectory going into spam. I had to get help from the website hosts to set up the plugin as it was a bit technical for me and he just had a baby so I can’t really bother him right now.

If I remove “mail” from that setting it doesn’t send the test email so I assume that they set it up like that. I’m not really sure what to do?

You can stick with sparkpost, in which case you can try to contact the sparkpost authors, or ask your host for further help with setup, or to review the setup.

Or you could try a different solution.

Check with your host for recommendations.

What other solutions would you suggest? Cant ask my host for help just now as he has just had a baby.

I have send a verification email to support@ You should click the link in it.

Once done you should change the sparkpost email in wp-admin settings to remove the “mail.” part.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
