Duplicated invoices – Reccuring (Yearly Renewal)

    Hello,
    I use your plugin v.1.0.12.

    I’ve notice a strange bug (or maybe not). For some people, when they buy a yearly renewal item (Paypal subscription), that generate another invoice.

    The original invoice have the status : Paid
    And the other invoice have the status : Renewal

    But, the second is not generated after 1 year… (see attachment).
    If the user do not complete his transaction and paid later, that can cause this bug? I’m just wondering when a invoice is supposed to be generated with the Renewal status?

    Do you have any other ideas?

    The renewal invoice should be generated around the time of the renewal, not in the beginning.
    Is this happening for all your renewals?
    Is PayPal paying you twice?
    Can we check the settings of the item please. Please post your URL and WP admin details in a private reply and we will have a look.

    Hello,
    thanks for your reply. No, strangly, this is not happening for all the renewals.
    We have found 3 of theses bugs in about 12 transactions.
    Also, Paypal do not send the payment twice (just for the first time or first invoice).

    For you information, an other invoice was created on January 9 and paid on January 22. The second invoice (renewal status) was created on payment (see capture attached).

    I cannot give you access to the WP for the moment.
    But maybe I can give you access to the website WP development URL (Paypal is not configured in this version and transactions not here). It’s good for you ?

    I attach you a capture of an item setting.

    Other question, if the admin of the site create the invoice from the admin panel, and the user pay it on front-end, that can cause this type of bug ?

    It should not.

    Only checking on the site that has the problem would work.
    Let us know when we can have access to a site where we can investigate the problem if it keeps happening.
