As far as i can see its working correct.
Lets say you are in France but are ordering online for your american company, the law is that if you are buying from the EU then u pay the EU tax.
If you are in France and buying for your German company, it will ask for VAT details, filling that in and then checking that address confirmation should remove the tax.

Hello,
I do all my testing with chrome, its my daily driver and i have never had this problem.
If we can’t replicate the issue then we can’t fix it without actually doing testing on the affected site.My guess is that it is some sort of javascript conflict.
You can private reply here and only staff will be able to see it.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hello,
Patrik has been off, he should be back tomorrow.

Hi Markus,
The EU tax law is that if you (the customer) are in the EU at the time of purchase then you have to pay the EU tax unless you are VAT registered EU business, so the system is working as it should.
Two forms location are needed to be able to remove tax, we track the address and the IP, your IP is saying the EU so it is charging tax as it should.
I am not sure what you are doing here, trying to test the system for US customers? If so i use a free chrome addon “Tunnel bear” which lets you easily change your IP location to different countries.
If i can help further please let me know.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Sonya,
I think the problem is that stripe is sending all hooks and WPI is not setup to respond to all of them, only certain ones, so the ones it needs seem to be working but the ones it does not need are showing as failed, i think we already implemented a fix for this but it has not been released yet, the next release should stop the errors.
Thanks,
Stiofan
That request above seems to have worked not failed, so it must be working for some. Can you narrow down what type of messages are not working?

Hello,
It is telling us that your server is returning a 403 code, maybe ask your server admin the reason for this.
Can you past some of the failed notifications here in a private reply.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Patrik will try and recreate this tomorrow, if he can’t then we will need wp-admin and FTP to test.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hello,
I have not seen this before, it might be a conflict, if you can provide wp-admin and FTP details i will check your error logs.
Thanks,
Stiofan

Thanks,
Stiofan
