Square – No Payment Gateway Active

    I cannot get the Square plugin to work, either in Sandbox or Live mode. I have created the appropriate App ID, Access Token, and Location ID in Square… in fact, I have tried setting up three different Applications in Square, each with different credentials. None of them work. I cannot find any documentation for Square, although you have documentation for other platforms. I have set up PayPal and that appears to work, but I need to use Square. What do I need to do to get this to work? Thanks

    No error, as in when trying to process a transaction. The check-out page is not recognizing the Square gateway so in the Select Payment Method area, I just get the message No Payment Gateway Active. I never get to an active payment page.

    Hi Curt,

    The Square Gateway is not displayed when a customer tries to pay for an invoice that contains a recurring item.

    This is because the Square API does not support setting subscriptions.
