Stripe error when payment

    Hi,

    We have an error when we try to pay (we use wpinvoices with geodirectory).
    Error is : “Stripe customer source creation failed while processing a stripe payment.”

    The client is created on our stripe dashboard.
    All keys are checked and correct.

    The plugin is up to date.

    Can you help us ?

    We have reached Stripe and this is their answer :

    “I did a dive into the sources, and found that the charges were not picking up CVC codes or addresses. This could be a potential error on the website, maybe the plug-in, or the person putting in the card is not actually putting in their CVC code.

    Let’s get a hold of that plug-in manager and see if they can provide some insight on this. If they push back, feel free to add their email to this thread, and I can set them straight.”

    We have tested with correct CVCs, and we have still the error.

    This is not a known issue. Please make sure you are running the latest version.
    If the issue persists please write back with WP Admin credentials and FTP so we can debug the issue.

    Hi,

    I have tried to create an invoice on your site and checkout via stripe and it worked fine. If the customer is not adding CVV then there should be an error by stripe as we are using the stripe element form for getting the card details. I would suggest you provide the steps to regenerate the issue and if possible prepare a video and share it with us so that we can regenerate the issue and fix it asap.

    We, and our clients, have tried with test mode activated and disactivated, so did Stripe.

    Hi,

    We have many people using this and there were no such issues but as per your video, I found that the issue is due to the live credit card used for with test mode active and if you deactivate the test mode and use the live card it should work. I would suggest providing a similar video with test mode disable and we can look into the error displayed while checkout.
