Hello Support Team,
before my vacation I have translated Invoicing into German, but didn’t have the time to post all the little things, that I’ve noticed while translating:
Ambiguous or incomplete strings, please complete or make them clearer:
1. We share information with third parties who help us provide our payment and invoicing services to you; for example
2. Items which need to be in the cart to use this discount or, for “Item Discounts”, which items are discounted. If left blank, this discount can be used on any item.
3. Please replace decimal points through decimal places, for a better consistency through all your products
Typos and consistency
4. Ethiopian irr, it should be: Ethiopian Irr
5. Georgian lari : Geordian Lari
6. Ghana cedi : Ghana Cedi
7. Authorize.net : Authorize.Net (decide please for one version)
8. GeoIp2 : GeoIP2 (as the official name)
9. GeoPlugin : geoPlugin (as the official name)
10. You are using two prefixes wpi and wpinv, even in your page slugs/shortcodes. Is it that, what you want to have? Why not just a single prefix?
11. Please decide just for one form: debit/credit card or for credit card / debit card
Meaning of the placeholders (please give me concrete examples in order to check my German translation)
12. Placeholder %s for plural and singular form it is not clear to me. What does it mean concrete %s ?
13. Can’t get property %s
14. %s Then %s
15. GeoIp2 %s database updated successfully.

Please explain the meaning of the words:
19. This will disable basic JS correct format validation attempts, it is very rare this should need to be disabled.

22. Is there a German Translation for Authorize.Net ?
If you are accepting recurring payments then you must set this url at Authorize.Net Account > Settings > Transaction Format Settings > Transaction Response Settings > Silent Post URL.

Thanks for your great feedback. Most of the things are fixed on our side and will be in next update. Please find my comments below for queries:
12. Placeholder %s for plural and singular form it is not clear to me. What does it mean concrete %s?
%s is used to place value of the variable so it should not be translated and kept as it is. It should not have space between ‘%” and ‘s’ as there will be some value display in place of %s runtime. If you want to know what will come in place of it then you can look into the file containing the text and you will get an idea.
25. Package: GeoDirectory price package items. ; type:; custom_id: – could not find those strings?
type and custom_id are data for the items and not translatable as it is for information purpose to admin what saved in DB. ‘Package: GeoDirectory price package items.’ is coming from Geodirectory payment manager plugin and it can be translated from Geodirectory payment manager plugin’s language file.
26. Invoice Total: – invoice total is not calculated
Can you explain this? Total is displayed using a variable there. It is not depending on translations.
27. Same description for Subscriptions History as for Invoice History (Bug by replacing, there are 2 different strings)
Can you explain more? Both descriptions are for different pages invoice history and subscription history. It seems you have added the same translation for both the strings. Please check your translated string and let me know if any issues.
Regarding “Title and description placeholders for all payment gateways”, those are the values saved when plugin activated so you will need to change it by resaving with german string values instead of translating it using po file.

12. I know about variables and placeholders. OK, so I’ll have to check the strings on the frontend and make afterwards a better translation, if it should be the case.

26. You can see the attachment issue_26.png. Indeed, it is not a translation bug, but in my opinion neither a normal behavior.
27. Oh, that is true :), it is my translation. It can happen :), I changed it.
Regarding “Title and description placeholders for all payment gateways” – OK, i didn’t know that. I see, that the strings are replaced on the frontend forms but not on the backend settings and field settings.
33. In backend you find a label Notifications, a label for a textarea and in that textarea I could see the same text as in the first link of 33. I can not reproduce it, because I uninstalled the plugin, but I’ll install it in v2 and get back to you , if the case.
I still have a list with, in my opinion, redundant words in strings, which are not so good for the readability. I’ll come back to it, when v2 and all its addons are translated.

I think you should check again as I can’t regenerate the issue from my side. Let me know the test site admin details in private reply and I can try to regenerate and fix it.

I can not regenerate it at the moment, because the plugin is uninstalled and the system is online. I’ll give it a try next week on the staging and come back to you.
