GetPaid creates this page when you install it. It is called Payment Confirmation and holds the
[wpinv_receipt]
shortcode, which shows the receipt for the invoice the customer just paid.

If customers end up somewhere unexpected after paying, the page setting is usually the cause: the page was deleted, moved to the trash or unpublished, so GetPaid has no valid page to send them to. Failed or cancelled payments go to the Failed Transaction Page instead, and when that setting is empty GetPaid sends the customer to your home page.

Check the payment pages

Go to GetPaid > Settings > General and scroll to Page Settings.

Make sure Success Page and Failed Transaction Page each have a published page selected.

If a page is missing, go to GetPaid > Settings > Tools and click Run next to Check Pages. GetPaid recreates any of its pages that are missing and selects them in the settings.

Save the settings and make a test payment to confirm where you land.

You can also make the success page yourself. Create a normal page, add the
[wpinv_receipt]
shortcode (or the GetPaid > Invoice Receipt block), publish it and select it as the Success Page.

Add your own content to the confirmation page

The success page is an ordinary WordPress page, so you can put text, buttons and links above or below the receipt. Keep the
[wpinv_receipt]
shortcode on the page, because that is what shows the receipt for the right invoice.

This is the easiest way to give buyers a route back into your site after paying. Add a link to their account page, to whatever they just bought, or to the My Invoices page, which uses the
[wpinv_history]
shortcode to list their invoices. If your site runs UsersWP, you can add an Invoices tab to user profiles under UsersWP > Form Builder > Profile Tabs and link to the profile from the confirmation page.

A different page for each item

The Success Page setting applies to every payment. To send buyers of a particular item to a page of its own, see the GetPaid Custom Item Success setup guide.

After a successful payment, GetPaid sends the customer to the Success Page chosen in GetPaid > Settings > General, under Page Settings.
